Shanghai, 2010. Just a few days before the World Expo open its doors, I had the enormous privilege of arriving to a mega city of 20.000.000 souls, where the unstoppable demand of modernity is just a passing page to thousands of years of unique cultural and historical heritage, loosing their identity in the process.
The attraction that I felt to the street life and how the Chinese live and survive in a city that is constantly moving so fast is what I am presenting in this new website.
Modernity vs Tradition, Sophistication vs Simplicity. Has never been my intention to judge or criticize, I am only an observer,
These images are not only pictures, they are the experiences on my own transformation as a photographer and as a human being.
